The hematoma and the twins
This is not our hematoma, or our baby, just an example. The hematoma is very small. I have Dr Googled hematomas, and thanks to my surro buddies who did as well and provided me with much comfort. In 90-95% of cases they either bleed out or are reabsorbed by the body. They can grow and cause a problem, but I'm not going to think about that right now.
Our next scan is the all important six week - fetal pole and heartbeat scan - next Monday at six weeks. I can't believe we are already five weeks and two days. With twins! We are in for much work in the future. We are both soooo busy right now, with the build and work, and ... just life.
A very long way to go. And I of all people know how precarious this pregnancy thing is for anyone, surrogacy or not. To the charming "people" who commented that it is karma we have a hematoma (ie. read, your pregnancy is over or will be soon) ... we already have back up plan number 100 in the pipeline. Such a shame you quit when the going got tough, or got lucky first try. You can't rain on my parade.
