Moving on ...

We are packing for our trip home tomorrow morning. I have selected Toby's coming home outift, a gorgeous little Pumpkin Patch number courtesy of the Chai Babies. Toby will be a month old when we hit Australian soil. Talk about growing fast, he pushing it to fit 0000. Thanks to the Tigerlilycats who provided us with all his little clothes, they no longer fit and will be passed along to smaller babies, as will the bag of "pink" I brought with us.

We will have been in Delhi for five weeks. What a whirlwind of a time. I so glad we had a week to prepare for Toby's arrival, and a whole month to get to know him. Here are some Toby facts (which I write more for me as I'm sure only a parent thinks this is interesting news).

He is looking at me and dad for longer periods of time, usually when feeding.
His eyes are slightly-almond-shaped limpid pools of light grey/blue liquid beauty that I can look into forever.
He is sleeping better, but not as much.
He wants to be Mr Awake boy during the day, so we get nothing done.
He is a cuddler, and his favourtie position is in the crook of our arms.
He turns his head to different sounds.
His hair is getting lighter, and is a light coppery brown.
He no longer cries when bathed.
We have no routine whatsoever.
He is so very loved, we would jump in front of speeding bullets to protect him.
I bid you adieu until Wednesday.
